Meet experimental producer and creator, Known Shaz.
Shachar Zysman, aka Known Shaz, is an Electronics Grooves and Beats producer and creator who incorporates the entire musical spectrum in his artistry, from modular synth through orchestral recordings.
“Always keep searching” is the mantra for Known Shaz’s unique, ever-evolving sound, as he fuses together deep grooves, grainy textures, crispy synths and wide atmospheres inspired from his surroundings in Tel Aviv. He credits FLYLO, Flume, Burial, Machinedrum and Aphex Twin as his primary musical influences.
After releasing his debut EP in 2018, Shaz gained recognition in the Tel Aviv scene, and moved quickly to release his 2nd and 3rd as a double EP titled “Flowerstone” under the local Raw Tapes record label. Flowerstone garnered international media acclaim, including KEXP & WORLDWIDE FM, and led to his first European tour just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Known Shaz recently released his 4th EP, “Interference”, as a series of short looped video loops, as well as several videos of live jam experiments.
